Vertex 1220A De-Ice Controller is used In geographic areas that experience snow and ice and it is important to keep the satellite antenna reflector and antenna feed free from ice and snow.
The de-ice system can be an electric blanket or hot air blown into the de-ice enclosure. There is also an option on many antennas to separately de-ice the feed.
This Vertex controller has the options for manual or automatic control with separate control for the reflector and the feed.
