Cross 2083-714A Frequency Translator is a dual purpose IF device that can accept 70 MHz input and convert the output to 140 MHz or make the opposite conversion, taking a 140 MHz input and sending out a 70 MHz IF signal.
Cross Technologies describe this unit as an Agile IF-to-IF Translator. We have used these translators on our test bench and found that the controls are simple and intuitive. The Cross 2083 supplies a 10 MHz reference if required.
