The DynoRaxx DynoBond is a proprietary, UL-recognized design that allows the DynoBond to be used as a bonding jumper between modules and rows, making the module frames the medium for the equipment ground path.
The DynoBond replaces the conventional method of installing one ground lug per solar module and running a solid six gauge copper wire bonding the modules. The DynoBond is engineered for commercial and residential applications. It was conceptualized to save solar installers time and money on installation.
4 Benefits
No Tools Allowed
DynoBond is pushed onto bottom flange of panel
Supports flange thicknesses from 1.2mm to 3.1mm
Clean
Wire is virtually hidden on system
Corrosion Resistant
Stainless Steel clips and Tin-Plated Copper Wire paired for reduced electrochemical potential
Superior Design
UL-recognized to 467 and 2703
With its innovative design, the DynoBond system can provide cost-effective grounding for any solar system with aluminum-framed solar modules. The installation is toolless — simply push the DynoBond onto the frame of each module to create a bond between adjacent panels.
The angle of the panels has no effect on how the DynoBond is installed so that it can be used on both flat and pitched roofs. It creates a reliable, low-resistance ground path using the panels’ own frames, saving time, materials, and money compared to the labor-intensive, traditional grounding process that requires installing individual lugs on each panel and then connecting them with a 6 AWG cable.
