2115W Outback Flexpower Grid Tied Emergency Solar Backup System 

This expandable 2,115 watt grid tied system has a pre-wired power center that makes it easy to install. The OutBack Flexpower is pre-wired with all of the essential protective devices in the smallest possible space at the lowest installed cost making it ideal for applications with modest power requirements such as cabins, weekend get-a-way homes, and remote communication sites as well as back-up power systems homes. Utilizing an extremely compact design and an easy-to-install mounting bracket, the fully pre-wired and tested Flexpower ONE System is engineered for a quick installation, saving both time and money. The pre-wired power center comes with an OutBack charge controller already mounted. OutBack charge controllers have maximum power point tracking with an efficient, safe, multi-stage recharging process that prolongs battery life and assures peak performance from the 1410 Watt solar array.

Flexpower by Outback includes a single AC inverter, AC and DC wiring boxes, a single Flexmax battery charge controller, MATE monitor, HUB, Flexnet DC and lighting surge protector. All this wrapped up in a 1,410 watt off-grid kit with a small power center footprint. The Flexpower System is also equipped with battery and breakers, a GFDI breaker, an input-output-bypass assembly, mounting locations for both AC GFCI Type B and EU Type F style outlets and additional AC breakers.

This expandable system has 25 year guaranteed UL listed solar panels, UL listed combiner box and we supply all the connectors from the panel to the box. You supply the conduit and wire from the box to the power center which is indoor rated. 1860W Flexpower Off-Grid Pre-Designed Solar System for 48v Battery Bank

This expandable 1,860 watt off-grid system has a pre-wired power center that makes it easy to install. The OutBack Flexpower is pre-wired with all of the essential protective devices in the smallest possible space at the lowest installed cost making it ideal for applications with modest power requirements such as cabins, weekend get-a-way homes, and remote communication sites as well as back-up power systems homes. Utilizing an extremely compact design and an easy-to-install mounting bracket, the fully pre-wired and tested Flexpower ONE System is engineered for a quick installation, saving both time and money. The pre-wired power center comes with an OutBack charge controller already mounted. Off Grid or Grid Tied

FLEXpower™ ONE FP1-VFXR3648 inverters are designed to work off-grid and also interact with the grid to back feed power. If you have a generator you should be aware that the  inverters will only sync with Honda EU generators because they produce pure sine wave power.

Mounting and Battery Options

Roof or ground racks and batteries are not included in the base price of the kit because they are site specific options. Mounting on the roof or ground, types of attachment are individual's specific property requirements. There are options below for racking (roof or ground), and batteries to accommodate nearly every application you might encounter.

Other Materials Needed

Some additional items sourced from your local hardware store that you may need to purchase are: Conduit, appropriately sized electrical wire from the combiner box to the location of the power panel, some fasteners, sealant, grounding rod and wire to complete the final connection to your main panel or sub panel.

HomeGrid Stack'd Series 19.2Wh 4 Modules

The HomeGrid Stack'd Series offers an ease-of-install, aesthetics, and performance that is unmatched in residential batteries. Each Stack is especially suitable for applications of high power, limited installation space, and restricted load-bearing and long cycle life.

The Stack’d Series has a built-in BMS battery management system, which can manage and monitor cell’s information including voltage, current and temperature. What’s more, the BMS can help extend the cycle life by balancing cells during charging and discharging.

Multiple battery stacks are allowed to be connected in parallel to expand capacity and power to meet the requirements of longer power supporting duration and higher power consumption.

Lithium iron phosphate battery The lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4 or LFP) is the safest of the mainstream lithium battery types. A single LFP cell has a nominal voltage of 3.2V. A 51.2V LFP battery consists of 16 cells connected in series. LFP is the chemistry of choice for very demanding applications. Some of its features are:

  • Rugged - It can operate in deficit mode during long periods of time.
  • High round trip efficiency.
  • High energy density - More capacity with less weight and volume.
  • High charge and discharge currents - Fast charges and discharges are possible.
  • Flexible charge voltages.

Stack’d Series Features

Outback Flexpower Radian FPR-4048a Pre-wired System, 4KW, 120/240VAC, 48VDC 1 X FM100

The OutBack FLEXpower FPR pre-wired power panels integrate Radian inverter/chargers, FM100 charge controls, and all of the essential protective devices in an easy-to-install, fully pre-wired and factory-tested system. FLEXpower FPR systems are available with either 4.0 kW or 8.0 kW inverter sizes. The Radian inverters can be used for either grid-tied or off-grid systems and have the capacity to use and charge any technology batteries, as well as advanced OutBack features including Grid Zero and Offset modes. Dual AC inputs allow connection to both the utility and a backup generator set. Compatible with system monitoring and control via OpticsRE. Utilizing a compact all-on-one mounting plate design, they are fully pre-wired and factory-tested.

Each FPR is designed for 120/240 VAC single-phase output. Each power panel includes one inverter/ chargers, one or two FM80 charge controllers, FlexNetDC, AC and DC wiring box, a MATE3, HUB10, inverter and controller breakers with GFDI, and an AC Input-Output-Bypass Assembly.
